This stunning, fine and impressive pearl bird brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.

The brooch has been modelled in the form of a bird perching on a branch with wings displayed.

The head of this antique bird brooch is embellished with a stunning natural pearl, accented with two collet set round faceted cut rubies representing the bird's eyes.

The body and wings of the bird are ornamented with one-hundred and fifteen pavé set Dutch cut diamonds, incorporating further pavé set rubies to the nadir of the neck.

The tips of the wings are accented with twelve pavé set round faceted cut emeralds, totalling 0.28ct.

The splayed branch design is embellished with fifteen pavé set Dutch cut diamonds, incorporating two emanating bud designs represented by individual claw settings, completing the design.

The Victorian brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp, benefitting from the added security of a safety chain.
