The geometric, iconic Art Deco brooch is ornamented with a stunning central, collar style design accented with paralleling borders of black hot enamel.

The subtly convex surface is embellished with pierced decorated lozenge motifs accented with thirteen pavé set eight cut diamonds.

The central segmented arrangement is flanked to either side with an impressive feature collet set 0.68ct and 0.63ct Old European cut diamond.

The shaped frame is embellished with forty further pavé set eight cut diamonds, completing the design.

The platinum Art Deco diamond brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and sheath style fastening.

This finely hand-crafted brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.

This stunning enamel and diamond brooch is supplied with two IDGL diamond grading certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.

This black enamel and diamond Art Deco brooch combines geometric design with striking tonal contrast. The deep enamel provides a bold frame for the diamonds, enhancing their brilliance while reinforcing the period's emphasis on symmetry and clean lines. Particularly suited to milestone birthdays, anniversaries, weddings or significant celebrations, its distinctive design and period craftsmanship also give it strong heirloom and collector appeal.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.

This antique Art Deco brooch dates from circa 1925 and is made from platinum. The symmetrical composition features a central, slightly convex rectangular section with diamond lattice work and millegrain borders, trimmed top and bottom with black enamel bands. Flanking this central segment are two large feature Old European cut diamonds, each set within circular frames. The geometric stepped edges on either end contain multiple smaller pavé set diamonds. The silver coloured metal holds a total of fifty-five diamonds weighing 2.38 carats. The reverse includes a hinged pin and sheath style fastening. The brooch measures 0.49 cm high, 1.7 cm wide, and 4.2 cm deep. As an antique accessory from the 1920s, it functions as a wearable piece of period jewellery, suitable for pinning to the lapel of a coat, jacket, or formal evening dress during special occasions, celebrations, and gatherings today.

Art Deco jewellery from the 1920s is defined by geometric forms, linear symmetry, and contrast. Craftsmen favoured white metals such as platinum alongside high-grade diamonds, millegrain borders, and bold black enamel accents.

Brooches from this era were primarily crafted using platinum or white gold for strength and precise filigree work. Settings were embellished with old European cut diamonds, baguette diamonds, and vitreous enamel.

Authentic pieces display period-correct metal purity marks, hand-carved millegrain work, geometric symmetry, and older diamond cut styles such as old European or single cuts, alongside era-appropriate pin attachments.

In addition to being worn on outerwear, lapels, or evening wear, fine antique brooches are frequently displayed in framed shadow boxes or velvet jewellery cases within a dressing room interior.

Clean gently using warm water, mild liquid soap, and a soft-bristled brush. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or ultrasonic baths, especially when enamel detail is present, and store separately in a fabric-lined box.
