AC Silver has dated this Tutti Frutti Basket Brooch to the 1910s.

This stunning antique gemstone brooch has been crafted in 18ct white gold.
The brooch has been modelled in the form of a giardinetto, depicting a small basket overflowing with colourful gemstone flowers; this iconic design is characteristic of the high-end jewellery trend popularised during the early 20th century*.

The pierced decorated waisted vessel is embellished with an openwork lattice weave basket body, accented with eight individually collet set eight-cut diamonds.
The rounded base and arched handle of the basket bear textured details replicating the nature of the baskets woven construction.

This finely crafted antique brooch is embellished with a vibrant, multi-gemstone arrangement including 2.10cts of cabochon and carved sapphires, 2.92cts of carved leaf emeralds and 3.02cts of carved floral rubies, all individually four-claw set.

This floral brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.
The reverse of the frame is hallmarked with the 18ct gold mark (18CT) and the brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.

This stunning multi-gemstone brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
Such original antique examples with deeply struck hallmarks are becoming increasingly difficult to locate; this piece is one of the finest you could hope to acquire.

This exceptional antique gemstone Tutti Frutti basket brooch exemplifies early Art Deco influence and Eastern-inspired gemstone carving. Featuring a vibrant arrangement of contrasting gemstones and a charming basket motif, this piece possesses a wonderfully joyful character, showcasing the celebrated Tutti Frutti style that combines richly coloured stones with intricate, nature-inspired forms. It makes an extraordinary gift for someone who appreciates colourful gemstones, imaginative design and distinctive antique jewellery, proving particularly fitting for a landmark birthday, milestone anniversary, Mother's Day, retirement or significant personal achievement.

NOTE: * The term 'giardinetto' translates from the Italian as 'little gardens', aptly describing these charming floral jewels, which are most commonly found in the form of brooches, although examples are also seen as charms, rings and pendants.
