AC Silver has dated this Victorian Emerald Diamond Ring to the 1880s.
This stunning and unusual antique French diamond and emerald twist ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with silver and platinum settings.

The pierced decorated twist shaped mount displays a feature step cut natural 0.60ct emerald, eight yellow gold claw set in 18ct yellow gold to the centre.
The feature gemstone is flanked to the upper and lower portions with a silver claw set Old European round cut diamond displayed in a vertical formation.

The impressive pierced decorated, flared, bifurcating scrolling twist design shoulders are accented with two further Old European cut diamonds, within individual collet platinum settings.
Each shoulder is embellished with pavé set diamonds, in a combination of cushion and Old European round cuts.

The flared bifurcating twist design shoulders integrate into the 18 carat yellow gold groove decorated shank.
This 1880s dress ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
This impressive antique twist ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold, silver and platinum.

The antique twist ring combines the rich colour of a natural emerald with the brilliance of high grade diamonds in an elegant intertwined design. Crafted in 18ct yellow gold during the late Victorian period, the warm setting complements the contrasting gemstones while enhancing its antique character. The twist form creates a sense of movement and symbolism, making the ring particularly suited to anniversaries, milestone birthdays or as a distinctive heirloom piece to be treasured across generations.

'Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics.'
