Set of 6 Antique Silver Handled Butter Knives

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of a set of 6 antique butter knives with sterling silver handles and silver plated blades. They are good quality pieces with decorative details on the handles and engraved dot pattern on the blades.

Each piece is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, 1916 and the maker G.B.

They are in very good condition for their age. The handles have a few minor dents and dinks and there is some light wear on the blades but nothing detrimental. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.

The set comes in its original fitted box with a velvet and silk interior. The box is in good condition with some minor marks and light scuffs but nothing detrimental and it displays well.

Approximate Measurements :

Length of Knife : 6 1/4" / 16cm

Box : 8 1/4" / 21cm x 6" / 15cm
