Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Page turners became popular during the nineteenth century to facilitate reading large volumes, bound manuscripts, or delicate newspapers without smudging printed ink or staining paper pages with skin oils.

Victorian page turners were commonly constructed from sterling silver, carved ivory, bone, tortoiseshell, or mother-of-pearl, occasionally featuring silver mountings or intricate hand engraving.

Authenticity can be determined by examining stamped silver hallmarks indicating purity and maker, verifying period-appropriate hand engraving styles, and inspecting natural surface wear or light oxidisation consistent with age.

An antique silver page turner can be displayed flat on an office desk, arranged atop a stack of leather-bound books on a coffee table, or placed inside a glazed display cabinet to add texture to a library space.

Sterling silver should be cleaned gently using a soft, lint-free cloth and specialized silver polish, avoiding abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemical dips that could strip deliberate patination or damage fine engraving.
