This large Victorian Masonic goblet is formed from cranberry red glass with a clear glass stem and base. The substantial bowl carries wheel-engraved Masonic symbols within profuse graping vine decoration, alongside a vacant roundel on the reverse. Below the bowl sits a cut baluster-shaped pedestal stem that emerges onto a star-cut circular foot, while the rim and body show the characteristic tones of traditional cranberry glassware. The piece measures 36.5 cm in height and 17 cm in diameter. In a contemporary home, this decorative vessel functions as an eye-catching display piece on a sideboard top or within a gentleman's library setting. It suits collectors of historic glassware and period Masonic items, bringing authentic Victorian character to interior spaces when placed prominently on a shelf or side table.

Victorian Masonic glassware comprises ceremonial or commemorative drinking vessels, such as goblets and rummers, decorated with wheel-engraved or etched Masonic emblems for lodge gatherings during the 19th century.

Cranberry glass was produced by adding gold oxide or chloride to molten glass batch, which created a rich red tone upon reheating and annealing.

Authentic pieces feature sharp, hand-executed wheel engraving depicting specific fraternal motifs, cut or knopped stems, and pontil marks or cut bases indicative of late 19th-century glassblowing techniques.

Displaying the piece in a lit glass cabinet, alongside leather-bound books on a shelf, or on a dark wood sideboard allows the crimson colour and detailed engraving to be highlighted by ambient light.

Clean gently using tepid water and mild liquid soap with a soft microfiber cloth, avoiding harsh chemicals, abrasives, or automated dishwashers to protect the glass surface.
