Description

A most beautiful Victorian floral engraved sterling silver claret jug. With a domed floral embossed hinged lid and a pierced floral thumb piece. The mount has floral decoration, empty cartouche and a Bacchus motif spout and a leaf capped scroll handle. Flaring clear glass body, hand engraved with birds garlands and flowers and finished with a star cut base. Both silver and glass are in very good original condition.
