In excellent condition, sturdy and solid.

The legs and seat are oak, the seat rails and stretchers are elm.
From a local country house, with a very attractive natural warm and rich patina and a really great colour.
A provincial stool with turned barrel legs and blocked stretchers and well shaped original top.

Nice example, heavy and with a splayed shape for stability. Stools like this are rarely found in such original condition.
Dimensions are:
18 inches high, 15.5 inches wide and 12 inches deep (all maximum)
