Description

A truly impressive antique solitaire ring. The 2.03 carat old European cut natural diamond in the centre - graded by GIA as J colour, VVS2 clarity - is internally very clean and tops up far, far whiter than the colour grading suggests. The stone is secured in an eight-claw coronet gallery, leading to a slender 18k yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by a GIA Natural Diamond Grading Report.

Cut:  Old European cut.

Colour:  J.

Clarity:  VVS2.

Carat:  2.03.

Circa:  1930.

Size:  P 1/2 (UK) or 7 3/4 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  The diamond is 7.65 x 7.72mm and sits 6.3mm from the finger.

Weight:  2.31 grams.

Metal:  18k yellow gold. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
