A stunning, fine and impressive antique 0.50 carat Colombian emerald, 1.94 carat diamond, platinum and 18 carat yellow gold set trilogy ring; part of our diverse engagement ring collections.

This stunning, fine and impressive antique emerald trilogy ring has been crafted in platinum with an 18ct yellow gold setting.

The pierced decorated setting displays a stunning feature yellow gold four-claw set 0.50ct octagonal cut Colombian emerald.

The emerald is flanked on either side by a stunning 0.98ct and a 0.96ct Old European round cut diamond.

The elevated and pierced decorated ring shoulders of this antique emerald and diamond ring integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.

The interior of the ring shank is hallmarked with the platinum mark (PLAT) and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum and 18 carat gold.

An emerald and diamond trilogy ring is a timeless gift for significant occasions, with the trilogy ring symbolising the past, present, and future, in addition to its vibrant green hue making it meaningful for May birthdays, Mother's Day or celebrating a child's birth.

NOTE: * This documentation accredits the emerald originating in Colombia and verifies that the gemstone shows insignificant indications of clarity enhancement.

'Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics.'

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.

Condition

This stunning trilogy ring is exceptional quality, set with an impressive emerald displaying fine colour, brilliance and presence; this is evidence of the stunning high clarity grade.

The stunning high colour graded diamonds display a fine white colour, brilliance and presence; although one of the diamonds is clarity graded at P1, it shows no unsightly black inclusions and both diamonds face up with an equal brilliance.

The antique trilogy ring is an exceptional gauge of platinum and gold, and is in exceptional condition with a clear hallmark to the interior of the shank.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this stunning antique emerald and diamond trilogy engagement.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

An Art Deco trilogy ring features three central gemstones, traditionally symbolizing the past, present, and future, crafted during the 1920s and 1930s using platinum settings and geometric gemstone arrangements.

Trilogy rings from the 1930s were typically constructed using platinum, yellow gold accents, step-cut coloured gemstones like emeralds, and round cut diamonds in claw mountings.

Authentic Art Deco rings feature hand-cut natural gemstones, historical metal stamps such as PLAT, precise claw work, and openwork gallery construction typical of interwar craftsmanship.

An Art Deco trilogy ring serves as an understated statement piece that can be worn individually on the ring finger or stacked with slim platinum wedding bands.

Clean antique emerald rings gently using warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth, avoiding steam or ultrasonic cleaners which can remove traditional oil treatments from natural emeralds.
