Heavy Antique 18ct Gold Sapphire Gypsy Ring. This is a wonderful quality gypsy ring with a stunning large 0.50ct old cut diamond in the middle which is clear and without inclusions. It is cushion cut and approximately 4.5mm x 4.8mm with a high table and deep (not measured). This diamond has wonderful life and sparkle. Besides this are 2, 4mm cushion cut sapphires of good colour. One of the sapphires some linear inclusions. The rich gold band has a really great shape to it with a tapering 18ct gold band which is 8mm at its widest point and 3.5mm at smallest point. This ring is in great condition with some general wear in accordance with age.. good strong thick band in original condition. The ring is fully hallmarked for 18ct gold Birmingham and the year c1897.
