A cute little horseshoe charm or pendant in nine-carat gold.
Although in modern times many people think a horseshoe has to be a U shape to ''keep the luck in'', the traditional Victorian horseshoe pointed down and was considered a way to disperse any luck and protect a home rather than holding it in.
SIZE: Approximately 1.3 x 1.2cm, not including the bail.
WEIGHT: 0.4g.
MATERIALS: Nine-carat (375) gold.
HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Hallmarked for nine-carat gold, Chester 1948.
CONDITION: In very good vintage condition with light surface wear.
