Chunky Vintage Late Art Deco Gold Amethyst Earrings

These fantastic late Art Deco earrings have a slightly rosy colour gold which beautifully complements the large faceted amethysts. They are finely made with lovely crisp detail and design typical of the period, with geometric Art Deco shapes transitioning into more sculptural scroll-like forms.

• Condition: Excellent vintage condition.

• Fixing: Large nine-carat gold butterfly scrolls.

• Hallmarks/stamps: None found. The metal tests as at least nine-carat (375) gold.

• Era: Estimated late Art Deco, c.1930-40s.

• Size: 3.9 x 1.6cm, the amethysts are approximately 9 x 11mm.

• Weight: 12.2g.
