Description

A James Macintyre Florian Ware Vase with flared rim, inverted stem and circular foot, in the “Violet” pattern by William Moorcroft, circa 1904-1913.

A superb vase delicately decorated with finely tube-lined sprays of blue flowers against a light blue background.

In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Some very fine typical age related crazing which does not detract.

Height: 29.5 cm

Diameter (at base): 7.5 cm

The base contains the early James Macintyre Florian Ware mark in brown with hand-painted William Moorcroft initial signature in green with 'des' below, together with pattern registration number: 326470.

Declaration
