Antique Silver Tea Urn.

Description

Wonderful Geo. III. silver tear urn; in elegant neo-classical style; of twin handled, vase shape with a detachable lid/cover on a square foot resting on four ball feet. The spout is in the from of an animal's head and has a wooden tap. The body is a profusion of brightcut decoration entirely in keeping with the style of the period. This neat compact urn is by one of the eminent silversmiths of it's period, and is of all the quality expected of this maker. The decoration is as crisp as the day it was made, and it is fully and clearly hallmarked. A very fine piece of Georgian silver.
