Smart little early 19th.c Biedermeier style mahogany wardrobe or cupboard c.1820. Two door cupboard fitted with four adjustable shelves inside (internal depth 13''). Flat polished top and moulded cornice which also features a remarkably fine applied carved moulding. Door fronts with spectacular flame mahogany veneers laid in a symmetrical pattern across the panels and continuing on the attractively shaped surrounding frames and on the cabinet sides. Note the large inlaid mother of pearl escutcheons. Shaped front edge to the shelves and shaped bottom edge to the plinth. Raised on the original turned front feet. Oak lined interior and back boards. Excellent colour and condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
