We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Edwardian coloured glassware refers to decorative drinking vessels produced during the reign of King Edward VII, between 1901 and 1910, often featuring jewel tones like cobalt blue, turquoise, and cranberry.

These glasses were hand-blown using metallic oxides such as copper or iron added to the molten glass batch to create distinct hues, paired with hand-lathed or knopped stems.

Authentic pieces exhibit subtle manual variations, faint pontil marks or ground-flat bases, knopped stems, and minor wear patterns on the foot rim from historical usage.

Coloured glassware can be displayed on open shelving, layered onto a dining sideboard to catch natural light, or used to add accent tones to contemporary dinner table settings.

Hand washing with lukewarm water and a mild non-abrasive detergent is recommended, avoiding dishwashers to prevent glass clouding or thermal shock.
