This fine large knife tray is made of Old Sheffield Plate and marked for maker Creswick. Dating to c1830, the piece has an inlaid silver cartouche with the family crest of a stag. A classic shape with reeded edges.
In good condition with slight signs of wear and slight copper bleed to raised edges and under the base.
