Kingsdown Antiques has dated these Victorian Figural Napkin Rings to the 1890s.
A textured dog figure is applied to the opposite side, creating a charming narrative “girl and dog” theme typical of Victorian novelty tableware. Marked with Registration Number ‘168938’ for the year 1891.

Victorian tableware often carried a sense of humour, and these little figures capture that perfectly.
