Arthur Simpson 1920’s Folding Walnut Cabinet

A beautiful quality made, English folding cabinet in solid walnut by the Cumbrian Arts & Crafts maker Arthur W Simpson around 1920. In excellent condition, in the original finish and having the Simpson makers label to the back. A design to use as a sewing cabinet for threads and sundries. Arthur Simpson died in 1922 but his son continued the Simpson workshop in Kendal until 1950.
