Description
A fine tall facet-cut Georgian wine glass dating to c1770.
The glass has a lipped round-funnel bowl with lower cutting composed of a band of alternating split and large oval cuts, with a further band of smaller ovals below. Sits on a central knopped, diamond facet cut stem, above a large conical foot.
A outstanding example, with excellent rare cutting and great proportions.
