An exceptionally whimsical and rare Victorian condiment holder by Coalport, modelled as a naturalistic walnut and fitted with a richly decorative silver plated lid, gilt interior, and its original silver plated wirework stand. This imaginative table piece combines fine English porcelain with metalwork in a delightfully organic form, embodying both the aesthetic sensibilities and table customs of the late 19th century.
