Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The carvings on the lower section of the bookcase are more detailed representations of the hunting theme with fish on the one side and game birds on the other panel and the interior of this cupboard is also shelved and there are 2 smooth running drawers
The Bookcase is very tall but it breaks down into three pieces for transportation, I have included pictures of it assembled with out the centre section, it works just as well this way and would not be too high for most modern rooms
The Bookcase has a solid back; it is in sound condition apart from age related wear
The Cupboard is 94” high, 57” wide and 21” deep, or if the middle section is omitted it is 81” high
