A moulded cornice sits above the upper section, which offers three fully adjustable shelves, over a double �Wellington� base with ten graduated, mahogany-lined drawers featuring finely detailed lobed knob handles. The base is flanked on either side by corbels and locking pilasters, fitted with high-quality multi-lever working locks by Chubb & Son, makers to HRH Prince Albert. The bookcase is constructed in separate elements � including the moulded cornice, upper section, lower section and plinth � allowing it to be dismantled for easier access through properties where space or entryways may be restricted.
