Paris porcelain, or "Vieux Paris,"

Refers to the variety of porcelain produced by artisans in factories in Paris, particularly from the late 18th Century to the 1870s.

This style, which includes decorative objects, tableware, and figures, is known for its variety and changing styles, such as hand-painted florals and gilded ornamentation, reflecting trends from the Rococo to Neoclassical periods.

It was first beloved by Marie Antoinette (particularly the “cornflower” painted patterns) and utilized by only the wealthiest of French aristocrats.
