A beautiful good sized German Hanau solid silver table trinket box. It is hallmarked with Hanau marks for JD Schleissner & Sohne and dates to c1900. It has been beautifully made with the lid being embossed with the image of a lady reading a book laid in a hammock and the sides depicting various cherubs. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the lid closes tight. It measures over 3.5 inches (9.2cm) across by over 2.25 inches (6.2cm) wide by 1.25 inch (3.2cm) tall and weighs 108 grams. A beautiful impressive piece.
