We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

The Art Deco period, spanning from the 1920s to the 1930s, is characterised by geometric precision, clean lines, stylised motifs, and a strong architectural influence.

Jewellery from this era frequently utilised platinum, yellow gold, and white gold, often incorporating old mine cut and old European cut diamonds set in bezel or milgrain settings.

Authentic pieces typically exhibit hand-carved details, specific period gemstone cuts such as old cuts with open culets, and traditional hand-fabrication techniques rather than modern casting marks.

An antique ring provides a sophisticated contrast when paired with contemporary minimalist outfits or layered alongside modern stackable bands for a curated look.

Preserve antique items by avoiding harsh chemical ultrasonic cleaners, storing them individually in soft-lined boxes, and having a professional jeweller periodically inspect the settings for security.
