Queens Antiques and Collectables has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The hinged cover to the base concealing a grille pierced and engraved with scrolling foliage. Both the silver gilt mounts have the same scrolling foliate design.
Stamped within the vinaigrette with S. Mordan & Co London.

The ruby glass is a deep luscious colour. Both the cartouches are clear, no names or initials.
A splendid item indeed.
The condition is very good…. The Glass perfume bottle has no chips or cracks, a few small scratches as shown in the photos. All hallmarks are clear. Some loss/fading/marks to the gilding. Perfume top springs open nicely and snaps shut well. The vinaigrette opens and closes very well.
