Description

Very useful early 19th.c. Welsh oak kitchen cupboard c.1810. In two pieces, the upper section fitted with one full depth (17½") shelf plus a shallower shelf above, over a slightly deeper cupboard base (internal depth 19"). Moulded cornice over lovely ogee arch shaped raised and fielded panels to the upper doors. Square lower panels, also raised and fielded and with moulded surround. Wooden knobs, ogee moulding at waist, and a simple thumb moulding around the base. Raised on the original long stiles. Oak panelled sides, deal back boards. With a repair to the bottom left hand corner of the right hand upper door. Otherwise very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
