This George III linen press dates from around 1800 and embodies the traditional English Country House style. Constructed from mahogany, flame mahogany veneer, and oak, the wardrobe presents a rich red-brown colour with a warm polished finish. The upper section contains a double-door cupboard set beneath a raised arched pediment, while the lower chest incorporates four graduated long drawers and two smaller upper drawers flanking an oval inlay.
