Large 19th Century Camphor Brass Bound Campaign Travelling Trunk with Stunning Rich Patina
 
A large late 19th-century camphor wood brass-bound travelling campaign trunk with brass mounts, with hinged lift top, decorated with brass bound edges, sides have inner rectangular brass borders, brass shield shape name plate, carrying handles on the sides. It features a warm, rich colour and patina, suitable for use as a decorative coffee table. The early timbers exhibit a deep colour and patination, making this trunk a rare find. It serves as a bold and decorative statement piece for a variety of interiors. The height and size of the trunk make it perfect for use as a coffee table, as an end table next to a chair or as a storage unit at the foot of a bed.
