Description

This fabulous 19th century wall light is a fine example of the best quality from this era circa 1880. The high quality brass has super detail to the winged mermaid casting. The raised gallery above holds the original Vaseline and cranberry glass shade that is again probably the finest example of its type from this age. It is in perfect condition.

It marries with the cast brass light in perfect symmetry.

An exceptional piece fully restored, now wired for electricity and PAT tested ready for installation in the home.

This will formerly have been a Gasolier in a fine Victorian residence.

The light measures 42 cms overall by 33 deep with the shade being in 15 cms in diameter.
