The World is Made of Glass Ltd. has dated this piece to the 1910s.

The decanter is in excellent condition for its age. This means, of course, that it shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with some 100 plus years of use. It has a polished out pontil mark on the base.

The decanter is of shaft and globe shape, measuring 14 cm (5.6 inches) in diameter at its widest point. The decanter is 23 cm (9.2 inches) in height without the stopper and 33 cm (13.2 inches) in height with the stopper inserted. The body of the decanter is enamelled and gilded in a floral pattern in the Islamic style and there is a blue enamel ring under the pouring rim which is gilded. There are no chips, cracks, or any obvious evidence of restoration. The stopper is of hollow ball form and is almost certainly the original. It features a banner of the same enamelling found on the neck of the decanter body. There are some tiny nibbles to the end of the stopper peg. A rare find.
It weighs 715 g. (~ 1 lb. 9 oz.).
