An exceptional mid-19th century Dutch colonial ebony cabinet designed in the celebrated architectural style associated with Samuel Pepys. Its grand scale, rich ebony tones, and striking inverted breakfront silhouette make it a magnificent statement piece for a principal library, dining room, or entrance gallery.

The upper section features a finely moulded cornice sitting above elegant astragal glazed doors that open to reveal fitted shelving, beautifully flanked by turned columns with intricately carved capitals. The base is configured with two perfectly panelled cupboard doors that offer substantial storage, with the entire piece raised on six distinctive compressed bun feet.
