This is an extraordinary antique silver plated soup tureen. Standing on four hoof feet with realistic deer legs. Two male deer (bucks) heads with large antlers are attached to each side. A female deer (doe) is reclining in top. The body is plain round in shape. This is sold in original plate with very little wear. c.1880 British made. Stamped underneath with a makers mark for Perry Glossop & Company of Sheffield stamped underneath.
