A Charles I carved oak coffer, the three panelled lid, with original hinges, having fine moulded decoration, above a frieze with deep nulled carving, above two centre carved panels. The wide stiles with crisp guilloche carved decoration. Fine colour and patina , the coffer stands well up on its legs and is in good original condition throughout. English Circa 1645.
