A super quality huge English Victorian antique solid sterling silver letter envelope opener or skewer. It is hallmarked for London 1872 with the maker being Chawner & Co (George William Adams). It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 14.25 inches (36cm) long by over 1 inch (2.8cm) wide and weighs 108 grams. A very well designed piece.
