Antique Victorian brooch, the brooch is crafted in gold plated on brass and set with beautiful detailed hand painted image of "Jesus being taken down from the cross" the painting is of the highest quality, with fine vibrent emamels, with no losses or wear to this fine painted porcalain Victorian brooch, the surround has three leaves attached (one missing) does not distract from the exceptional painted image, the length of the brooch is is 80 mm x 65 mm, pin strong with a good spring, all in very good condition, dates 1880s, comes in a luxury box.
