Pair of Large Carlton Ware Vases C.1930

Description

Fabulous pair of large Carlton Ware Rouge Royale vases or ginger jars c.1930. Standing 19" tall. Incredibly fine hand painted Mikado Pattern decoration in gold paint and raised coloured enamel against the deep red ground with lustre glaze. Original lids topped with a gold temple lion. Clear marks on the base of both vases plus an Art Deco style paper label for the gallery and jewellers Montano of Turin. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
