A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold charm pendant designed as a medal depicting St George on a rearing horse defeating the dragon. The phrase St Georgius written above. Signed Bouix. The reverse depicts a ship in a storm with ‘In Tempestate Securitas’ (Safety in the Storm) above it. Engraved with the name ''Francis'' and the date ''10 Decembre 1923''. Partially stamped with the eagle''s head for 18 karat gold and French manufacture along with a partial maker''s mark.
