Antique Furniture Direct has dated this Edwardian Carved Oak Stool to the Edwardian era.
The lions heads are crisply carved, the oak with good figuring and patina and the leather glossy and well-aged. It has the initials “ER” carved to each side. A very impressive, large seat that is solid and sturdy and would make a wonderful dressing table stool or window seat.
