Charming Edwardian Gold Shell and Baroque Pearl Stick Pin, C 1900

Description

An unusual piece of jewellery, made c 1900, often worn at the time on a cravat as a touch of style and individuality.

Beautifully crafted in 9ct gold throughout (including the twisted pin) and finely detailed featuring a gold shell with baroque pearl inside.

Marked 9ct gold to the reverse of the shell.

Please note that the box in the photo is not included in the sale. The pin will be sent to a perspective buyer in a new presentation case.

Dimensions: length – 57 mm, shell – 14x12mm, pearl- approximately 4 mm diameter.

Condition: excellent antique condition, minimal surface wear commensurate with age.
