Beautiful pearl necklace with 9 carat gold tourmaline clasp

Recently individually knotted the cultured pearls are a ivory silver with excellent lustre

The necklace has an attractive clasp set to the centre with a fabulous oval tourmaline surrounded by split pearls set in pretty millegrain detail gold

This classic double strand pearl necklace looks wonderful when worn

The necklace is 17" (43cm ) long

Strands 40cm and 43.5cm

The cultured pearls are approximately 6mm

Clasp 15mm x 14mm

Central tourmaline 8mm x 6.5mm

Clasp marked 9ct gold with makers initials JR

Push hook clasp

Necklace weighs 38 grams

It dates to the 1960s

The necklace is in excellent condition.

Recently restrung (March 2025)

Pearls are smooth and even coloured with excellent lustre

It comes in the presentation box illustrated
