Pair of Unusual Georgian English Sterling Silver Gilt Serving Spoons C1760s Antique 98g

Description

A rare beautiful pair of English Georgian antique solid sterling silver gilt serving spoons. They are hallmarked with Georgian marks including the lion passant silver mark and date to c1760 (difficult to decipher). They have been beautifully made in an Eastern style having figures engraved on one side and strange creatures to the reverse. They are in superb condition being free from dings, splits and repairs. They measure approx. 8 inches (20.4cm) long by 2 inches (5cm) wide and combined weigh 98 grams. A very good quality unusual set.
