An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver tea tray; an addition to our antique silver Teaware collection

This exceptional antique Victorian silver tray, in sterling standard, has a rounded navette shaped form.

The surface of this antique silver tray with handles is plain and unembellished.

The raised rounded border of this impressive example of Victorian silverware is embellished with impressive alternating fluted decoration in a swirl design.

The rim of the piece is encompassed with a band of applied fluted decoration.

This impressive sterling silver tea tray incorporates a plain oval inset handle to either end.

Condition

This Victorian silver tray is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The tray has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. There are natural fire marks to the underside, as to be expected in keeping with age. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the tray are all very clear.
