Georgian Welsh Oak Corner Cupboard C.1760

Description

18th.c. Welsh oak hanging corner cupboard c.1760. Moulded cornice over two long doors with shaped raised and fielded panels, flanked with deep flutes to the sides and with an attractive shaped detail to the bottom edge. Opening to reveal the original green painted interior with three shaped shelves and three small drawers in the base. Note also the charming pierced frieze above the top shelf featuring a winged Welsh dragon complete with pointed tongue! Good condition with a particularly good colour and patina. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Original lock, key supplied.
