Wash pieces gently by hand using lukewarm water and mild detergent, avoiding harsh chemicals, extreme temperature changes, and abrasive sponges to protect the delicate surface.

These pieces can be displayed on open shelving, sideboards, or coffee tables to add historical depth, colour accents, and textural contrast to modern minimalist or eclectic schemes.

Authenticity is determined by examining pontil marks, glass clarity, weight, characteristic colour palettes, and maker signatures or registration numbers where applicable.

Makers utilized lead crystal and soda-lime glass, often incorporating techniques such as trailings, threading, iridescent applications, and hand-moulding to achieve distinctive textures and colour contrasts.

Edwardian art glass reflects the transition from late Victorian ornamentation to the flowing, organic lines of the Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau movements, often featuring fluid forms and experimental techniques.
