Rare 18th Century Old Sheffield Plated Dish Ring / Potato Ring

Description

A rare dish ring or potato ring made of Old Sheffield Plate. Bearing no makers marks but possibly Irish in origin and dating to c1770-1780. Beautifully pierced design featuring birds and a windmill motif. A truly eye catching piece.

In good condition with some copper bleed to the edges/design due to age and use. No dents or splits.

Weight approx 376g.
