The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The bowl is finely engraved with a young man stood on a paved area in front of a grand building with flags on the roof and some fallen leaves at his feet. Made by Marius Hammer, Bergen, 830 standard silver, c.1890-1900.
It measures 15.6cm (6 1/8") long and 5.6cm (2 3/16") wide and weighs 57g / 1.8ozt.
In excellent condition with no damage or repair and minor handling wear.
